Adding on to Tay{s thoughts and comments...the flight was relatively easy, only 4 hrs from LAX. So quick when I am used to a 5 hr flight to the East Coast. As Tay mentioned it is super green and lush here and it reminds me alot of Costa Rica with the tropical air and trees. Driving through the country side on the way to the hotel we saw what I assumed to be some of the poorer areas with a ton of people walking on the highway, alot of hitchikers, and trucks full of people driving to work. Alot of stray dogs too! Today we are headed to the main volcano here, pic you see is taken from the internet, but will add our own later. Looking forward to the next 4 days of adventure in El Salvador!
